Talk about enjoying the RenFaire! Thanks to everyone for the great trip!

At the Renaissance Faire on Saturday. Brian and I standing next to a cute waterfall/pond in the Enchanted Forest. We had a great time and both of us dressed up.

We loaded up the Sub and went to dinner at a casual family style restaurant. After dinner all of us kids raced to the car. I don't know where they get all of their energy but I do think there is some kind of energy transfer in the vehicle where most kids fall asleep as soon as the car is moving. Left to right: Kaitlyn, Kassie being held upside down by Brian, and Kortney.

Then we spent some time playing the game we brought for the kids. It was a lot of fun. Here mommy Karen and daddy Chad look on while Brian plays the game with the little ones. Kassie is the small one in Brian's lap.

Friday, we spent some time with one of Brian's best friends, Chad, and his family. Their kids were very happy to see uncle Brian, and uncle Brian scored some serious points by bringing gifts for the kids. You know the quiet kind like band-in-a-bucket, and the clean kind like the cotton candy machine. Mom and Dad were so pleased. :)

On Thursday evening, we went to Brian's mother's house for dinner. She didn't know he was coming so it was a pretty cool surprise. After a lovely dinner and conversation, I finally got everyone to join in for a picture. From left to right: Mother Phyllis, Brian, Lynne, Beth, Vid and Sarah.

We also went to Camp Snoopy in the Mall of America. Brian and I rode on a roller coaster and the log ride. Then Brian saw the rock climbing wall. If you climb the most difficult side you win $20. So Brian gave it a shot, soon to find out that they are cheaters because the wall is almost completely without texture and not like a rock wall at all. Needless to say, we didn't take home $20.

Brian and I are standing in a replica of the jawbone from the movie "Jaws" at Underwater World. We all took turns standing in the teeth and taking pictures.

During august, Brian and I went to Minnesota to visit his family and friends. His sister Lynne, seen here with Brian, took us to "Underwater World" in the Mall of America. The aquarium was really neat and we enjoyed all the sharks and turtles.
